Without direct control of every aspect of production, from manufacture to customer, it is difficult to ensure product quality. For this reason, Forever Living Products has vertically-integrated the entire process of production, from growing the aloe plant and choosing the leaves which are ripe for harvest, to the temperature-controlled storage of the finished goods. This is something most other aloe manufacturing companies cannot boast of because they either do not have access to large plantations of aloe or have to subcontract a part of their production process to other companies. Differentiation From Competition

Plantations of Aloe: The entire process of production begins with the quality of aloe being used. Forever Living Products cultivates only the most potent specie of aloe, the Aloe barbadensis Miller specie of aloe without pesticides or herbicides on her plantations in Southern Texas, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic. The aloe leaves are only hand-harvested after they have reached the full maturity age of 3-4years. At this stage, the plant is most potent and most nutritious. The inner gel is extracted from freshly harvested mature leaves and stabilized within hours to maintain aloe’s original potency.

Patented Stabilization Processes: It is the inner gel of the aloe plant that science has proven to have medicinal properties and most opinion seems to be that the gel is most effective when it is delivered in the form that is as close to the original thing as possible. Our gel is extracted from freshly harvested, mature leaves and stabilized within hours.

Forever Living Products owns numerous (cold) stabilization patents that preserve the essential nutrients in the aloe gel.
